Celebrating 50 Years of Vietnam-Canada Diplomatic Relations: A Community Initiative

The total number of underprivileged children in different regions of Vietnam is as follows: 1,000 children in Ho Chi Minh City, 200 students in Long An Province located in the Mekong Delta region, and 200 others in An Giang Province, which is also situated in the delta. Visitors flocked to the Binh Dinh Convention Center in Quy Nhon on Sunday to admire a stunning assortment of ornamental plants and bonsai expertly cultivated by talented domestic artisans in the field. “The organizer of the exhibition proudly presents the city’s largest ornamental plant exhibition to date, featuring an exceptional collection of highly valuable bonsai. Discovering Vietnam’s Natural Splendour Through Art

An exhibition titled “Our Country” is currently taking place in Hanoi to mark the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. The exhibition showcases over 80 exceptional landscape paintings created between 1930 and 2007. The paintings, carefully selected from the museum’s modern art collection, were crafted by renowned artists from different generations, including graduates of the Indochina Art School, artists trained in Resistance Art courses, and younger artists. The exhibition features artists from the Indochinese Art School (1925-1945), such as Luong Xuan Nhi, Nguyen Van Ty, Phan Ke An, and Huynh Van Thuan, as well as artists born during the war of resistance, including Luu Cong Nhan, Duong Ngoc Canh, and Tran Thanh Ngoc. Initiative Launched to Celebrate Vietnamese Language in Global Communities by 2024

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has agreed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ proposal for a 2024 plan to mark the Day for Honouring Vietnamese Language in Vietnamese Communities Abroad (September 8) next year, according to VNA. Vietnamese representative agencies abroad will collaborate with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to implement activities within the framework of the plan. These activities will promote the expats’ maintenance of their mother tongue and recognize and encourage exemplary individuals who contribute to the preservation of the language in the communities. The funding for implementing the plan will come from the state budget, sponsorships, support from organizations and individuals in Vietnam and abroad, and other sources in accordance with regulations.
