During the three-day New Year 2023 holiday between December 31 and January 2, 2023, roughly 720 flights are expected to depart from and arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport, carrying a total of 115,000 passengers. As part of efforts to ease overcrowding at the airport, plans have been devised in order to add check-in counters, waiting chairs for passengers at domestic and international gates, and improve the technical system. All staff are mobilised in a bid to serve the peak travel season.
