The newly-recognized national treasures are a gold-star bronze drum from the Dong Son Culture that dates back 2,000 years ago and the gold-plated An Dan sword of Emperor Khai Dinh. These treasures are currently housed at the Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi. Several artifacts at the Thang Long – Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre have also earned the national treasure title. The expert team from the Archaeological Survey of India, under the Indian Ministry of Culture, has started surveying the tower in Tuy Hoa City, as the first step towards its preservation and refurbishment. But I had no idea how I would take care of a dog in an apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. My initial concern was about my apartment. Every floor of the building has a sign that says no dogs or cats allowed. However, in true Vietnamese spirit, this seems to be a rule that is not really enforced.
