The 21-year-old Khmer girl hailing from Tra Vinh province stands at 1.78 metres tall, weighs 50kg, and has body measurement of 74-61-88. She first rose to prominence during the grand finale of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 when she won the second runner-up title.

Mina Sue Choi, 23, of the Republic of Korea was ultimately the grand winner of the 22nd global pageant.

Other awards, including Miss Earth Fire, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Air, went to the beauties from Colombia, Palestine, and Australia, respectively.

Miss Earth was originally launched by the Philippines Carousel Production Company in 2001 to promote environmentally-friendly activities.

In 2018 Nguyen Phuong Khanh was crowned Miss Earth, the highest prize won by a Vietnamese representative in the pageant’s history.

Vietnam will officially host Miss Earth 2023. The world’s fourth largest beauty contest is scheduled to get underway in the central coastal city of Nha Trang with the participation of nearly 100 contestants from across the globe.
